FAQ

Strawberries are typically ready by mid-June, but this can vary depending on the weather. Please check back for updates as the season approaches!

Strawberry Picking Hours & Guidelines:

  • Daily: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM (Last wagon departs at 1:45 PM)
  • Check-In: At the windmill (west of the market)
  • Checkout: Inside the market.
  • Proper Dress for Picking: Be sure to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately. Although we use straw to help reduce mud and dirt, wearing older shoes or boots is advisable. Straw can be scratchy, so we recommend long pants for children who might be sensitive. To prevent staining your clothes with berry juice, consider wearing items you don’t mind getting a bit messy.
  •  Berry Picking Tips:  Select your strawberries with care. Make sure to leave the cap attached to the berry. Look for berries that are a vibrant red color; those that are orange or slightly green are not yet ripe. Remember, strawberries won’t ripen after being picked. The sweetness of the fruit is not determined by its size.

Thank you for supporting your local farm! We look forward to welcoming you to the fields and creating wonderful memories together!

We are animal lovers and you may meet our farm dog Bear when you visit our farm, but due to NEW food safety regulations enforced by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), we do not allow for you to bring your pets to the farm. The FSMA rules are designed to make clear specific actions to prevent food contamination.

Service animals are permitted at the farm. The animal must always be under complete control of the individual. Animals that are not dogs and/or whose purpose is only to provide comfort or support are not considered service animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Yes we do! We encourage people to come and take pictures in our beautifully decorated greenhouse.
